Q&A
What does Free actually include?
The verdict, the score and the basic overlay — on every Solana token, with no scan quota. SAFE / CAUTION / DANGER / RUG label, 1000-point composite score under the hood, and the basic checks you see in the overlay (Sell, Mint, Freeze, LP, Liquidity). The deep-dive layers — AI Summary, Critical Flags panel, and the Full Analysis page with the four Deep Analysis tabs (Insider Watch, Buy/Sell Flow, Wash Volume, Sniper Map) — are Pro features. Free gives you the verdict. Pro tells you why.
Why pay for Pro if Free already scans everything?
Because the verdict alone isn’t enough if you’re trading new launches every day — you’ll want to see why a token got flagged, the AI summary that translates the math into plain English, the critical-flags panel that surfaces what to actually act on, and the four Deep Analysis tabs (Insider Watch, Buy/Sell Flow, Wash Volume, Sniper Map) that show wallet-level activity. Those layers cost real compute and external API quota to deliver, so they’re paid. $24.99 / 30 days for the full toolkit is genuinely cheap if your tooling is part of your P&L.
What are the four Deep Analysis tabs?
The Pro-only deep-dive on the Full Analysis page. Insider Watch is a colour-coded wallet heatmap of the top 12 holders with 6h delta + action (Accumulating / Holding / Reducing / Selling / Dumping); the dev wallet gets a purple ring. Buy/Sell Flow is a pressure gauge with ACCUMULATION / DISTRIBUTION / BALANCED status driven by 5min / 1h / 6h / 24h windows. Wash Volume is a 0-100 wash score donut comparing reported vs estimated real volume, with avg trade size and buy/sell symmetry. Sniper Map shows the concentration retention bar (top-10 holding share vs distributed float) plus sniper / bundle flag count.
What does Yearly include?
Pay $149.99 once in any of 200+ supported cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL, BNB, etc. via NOWPayments hosted checkout) and get every Pro feature for a full year — AI Summary, Critical Flags panel, Full Analysis page with the four Deep Analysis tabs, scan history, exports, priority cache, and no affiliate prompts. Cheaper than monthly Pro after about six months. Yearly auto-downgrades to Free when the 365 days expire unless you renew at the locked-in price. Buyers from before May 2026 keep their grandfathered Lifetime tier and get every Pro feature for as long as Antares exists.
How do I activate Pro on the extension?
Automatically. The moment you sign in to your Antares account on a device where the extension is installed, the Pro overlay unlocks. No codes to copy, no fields to paste — the website sends a session token to the extension via a content-script bridge, and every scan after that resolves your tier from your account email. Sign out and the next scan reverts to Free. Sign in on another device and Pro syncs there too. Want to see your active subscriptions? /account.
Can I get a refund?
30-day Pro pass: yes, within 7 days if you haven’t actively used the Pro features. Yearly: yes, within 30 days. After that, Yearly is non-refundable for the unused remainder. Refunds are processed manually by NOWPayments back to the source crypto wallet you paid from — the on-chain transaction signature is the link, never an email or stored PII. Email antaresantiscam@gmail.com with the tx signature to request a refund.
Will there be student / underdog pricing?
Yes. Verifiable students and security-research contributors get 50% off Pro Monthly. Reach out by email (antaresantiscam@gmail.com) with your situation and we’ll set it up.
What do SAFE / CAUTION / DANGER / RUG actually mean?
The verdict is a band on the 1000-point score, with hard overrides:
SAFE (score ≥900, ≥5 sources active): no critical signals across all 7 layers.
CAUTION (600-899): at least one risk signal but nothing critical — e.g. concentrated top-10 holders, mild wash-trading ratio, very young token.
DANGER (350-599): multiple risk signals or one critical signal partially mitigated by maturity.
RUG (<350 or Safe Gate triggered): hard kill — LP open, honeypot, mint/freeze active, or deceptive name.
Can a SAFE token still rug?
Yes. Antares is a probabilistic risk screen, not a guarantee. We can detect what 6 independent sources surface at scan time — novel exploits, coordinated dumps via fresh wallets, or social-engineering attacks may not register.
The Wash Volume score and Sniper Map retention bar are indicative, derived from heuristic signals (avg trade size relative to liquidity, top-10 holder concentration) — they are not validated forecasts. See the Terms for the full disclaimer.
Why is this token flagged DANGER when it looks fine?
False positives are real and unavoidable. Common causes:
• LP not burned but token is mature & liquid — we still penalise unburned LP because the dev can rug at any time, even if the project looks legitimate (e.g. Fartcoin, DeFade). The established-bonus rule unlocks SAFE for tokens 30+ days old with 50k+ holders + GoPlus clean.
• Volume/liquidity ratio above 5× — flagged as wash-trading risk even on legitimate flash-pool venues where that ratio is structural.
• Deceptive name detection sometimes catches generic financial terms ("Vanguard Capital" matching "Vanguard"). We’re tightening this.
If you think a verdict is wrong, drop us a note via /support with the token CA.
What data does Antares collect about me?
None personal. The API receives the contract address you scan plus standard HTTPS metadata (IP, user-agent) used for rate-limiting only. We don’t store profiles, we don’t correlate scans across users, we don’t sell anything.
Full disclosure with retention windows per system: /privacy.
Why does the extension require activeTab and tabs permissions?
To detect Solana contract addresses on the supported trading platforms (DexScreener, pump.fun, Axiom, Photon, Birdeye, GeckoTerminal, GMGN). The Extension reads the URL and visible page DOM on those sites only. It does not read form fields, credentials, cookies, or browsing history.
How fast is a scan?
Typical: 3–5 seconds end-to-end (6 concurrent upstream calls + AI summary + insider graph + scoring). Cached scans return in under 100ms.
Slower than RugCheck (<1s, single source) by design — we trade speed for depth (7 layers + insider clustering + wallet-level activity).
Multichain support? Ethereum / BSC / Base?
Solana only for v1. Multichain is on the roadmap but not committed for the first public release. Phase 0 (DexScreener + GoPlus EVM) is the entry point; full feature parity (Critical Actors / Insider Watch / Buy/Sell Flow / Wash Volume / Sniper Map on EVM) is multi-week work.
Is the AI summary reliable?
It’s a Google Gemini 2.5-flash output grounded in the actual scan data (verdict, top flags, holder concentration, vol/liq, age). It can occasionally hallucinate or misinterpret — treat it as plain-English context, not authoritative analysis. The raw flag list and verdict are the ground truth.
If Gemini is unreachable, a local fallback dictionary covers the 12 most common flag explanations so the AI Verdict card never goes empty.
How do I report a false positive / false negative / bug?
Open an issue at antaresscan.com/support with: the token CA, what verdict you got, what you expected, and the timestamp of the scan (visible in the extension’s metric tab as requestId).
Security issues should be reported privately by emailing antaresantiscam@gmail.com with subject [SECURITY] — do not include exploit details in any public channel.
